This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for a General Contractor for the E494-00 Lions Gate Hospital South Tower Elevators Modernization project. This project will see to the modernization of four (4) overhead traction elevators in South Tower of the Lions Gate Hospital campus at North Vancouver, BC. The scope of work includes replacement elevator motors and control panels at elevator machine room, replacement of elevator cables inside the shaft and renovation of elevator cabins. The scope also includes modification of electrical infrastructure and fire alarm system as relevant to the project. Each elevator will be modernized one at a time. Please refer to the project specification, drawings and tender documents for details. Construction work is anticipated to start in September, 2025 and substantial completion in July 2027.
