***Specifics of this tender:

This tender is for the AHU portion of the project only; specifically:  SPH Pharmacy Project requires a Mechanical Contractor to supply, install and commission 2 air handling units (specified or equivalent), including air balancing of interior SPH Pharmacy area.

***General:

St. Paul’s Hospital (SPH) Pharmacy must undergo upgrades to its current Sterile IV and Chemo Compounding suites, in order to meet new accreditation requirements. The Project is comprised of 3 distinct phases:

  • Phase 1 – construction of offices and relocation of Pharmacy staff, in order to decant Phase 2 construction area
  • Phase 2 – demo of existing offices, construction of Pharmacy clean & ante rooms, installation of new outdoor AHU, exhaust ducting and roof-top exhaust fan
  • Phase 3 – minimal construction of additional office, staff lounge and storage
  • Please see attached schematics outlining the 3 phases

Only Bidders prequalified by the health authority, in the following discipline, may submit a Tender in response to this ITT:

Mechanical Contractors:  Prequalified by the Health Authority greater than $100,000 for acute care.

Infection Control:  note that this will be owner-supplied and provided separately.

Sub-Contractors:  Must be selected from FM prequalified lists if a list exists for that particular trade
