Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) wishes to continue with the third phase of this parkade remediation project; the principle is to repair damaged concrete and install a traffic deck coating (as appropriate) throughout the 2nd and 3rd levels of the existing Parkade structure at Lion’s Gate Hospital.

The scopes of work will include, but is not limited to:

• Supply, erection and removal of all shoring, scaffolding, barricades, and other temporary works necessary to provide access to all areas of the structure at which repairs and protection will be applied.
• Traffic control and phasing planning and implementation;
• Removal and replacement of deteriorated concrete, 
• Repair of inverted-T beam seats for precast beams
• Application of a traffic deck coating;
• Reinstatement of paint markings on the parking slab;
• Replacement of expansion joints;
• Installation of replacement doors;
• Installation of new drains, and
• Clean-up.

The Work of the Contract generally involves the supply of all labour, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, and other required costs/incidentals to repair concrete delaminations, spalls, and cracks of the concrete on the suspended slab-riding surface of the parkade
