This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for: 

In partnership with Coast Mental Health (Coast), PHSA is looking to complete a life safety upgrade to the current leased buildings of Hillside and Brookside on the səmiq̓ʷəʔelə lands, formerly known as Riverview. 

Built prior to the 1960’s, the two buildings support Coast’s residential Rehabilitation and Recovery Program. The program supports 15 women and 25 men with severe mental illnesses as well as addiction who are working towards recovery. 

The critical priority is to provide a new sprinkler system and associated life safety upgrades to both buildings for compliance with Part 3 of the Residential Care Regulations - Community Care and Assisted Living Act.
