This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for General Contractor for the VGH OR Renewal Phase 2 – MDRD Enabler Project. This renovation project consists of the 3 phased scopes of work in the Medical Device Reprocessing Department on the basement level of JPN. These phases are simplified as follows:

1. Phase A – Relocate/remove and replace/add reprocessing sink units, relocate 2 existing ultrasonic washers and add 1 new ultrasonic washer and 1 new Triton washer, replace existing Turbos, AGS, return conveyor and passthrough with new, replace 3 existing Getinge cart washers with new and install a 4th new Getinge cart washer, relocate existing cart return door and Gowning room and replace flooring.

2. Phase B – Install new Rotomat storage units and add new door controls.

3. Phase C – Add new electrical, data and medical air outlets.

Construction is anticipated to start in mid-end of July 2023, substantial completion in August 2024. Anticipated ready-for-take-over is in September 2024. Please update the number of weeks in your proposal accordingly to accommodate this.
