| Description: |
Purpose As Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) staff, patients and hospital visitors transition from internal combustion engine vehicles to electric vehicles, there is an ever-increasing demand for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE), or more commonly referred to as ‘EV Chargers’ at VCH facilities. Currently 11 per cent of VCH Staff own electric vehicles and 43 percent are planning to purchase electric vehicles in the next five years. This is further accelerated by Federal and Provincial incentives for buyers of electric vehicles, as well as the mandate by the Province of British Columbia to have 100% zero emission cars by 2040 as a part of their CleanBC program. To support this growing demand and enable low carbon transportation options, VCH is installing EV Chargers (Level 2 and DC Fast Chargers) at key facilities across the province. Eligible Bidders Only Bidders pre-qualified by the Health Organization in the following discipline may submit a Tender in response to this ITT: Discipline: Electrical Contractors ( Prime Contractor/ Bidder)
***Successful bidder must achieve substantial completion within 51 weeks from the date of receipt of the Interim Letter of Agreement. Substantial completion includes final occupancy from the local municipality [city]. Total Completion and turn over the space to the owner within 53 weeks.
