| Description: |
This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for the Richmond Hospital North Tower Air Handling Unit 1 Preheat Coil Replacement Project. The preheat coil inside Air Handling Unit 1 (AHU1) in the North Tower at Richmond Hospital is failing and is in urgent need of replacement. The preheat coil is located inside Air Handling Unit 1 in the North Tower at Richmond Hospital. It is required to warm up the cold outside air and provide heat to the entire North Tower during the winter months. Facilities Maintenance and Operations have flagged that over the past few years, the existing preheat coil has developed pinholes and require replacement to ensure continuous operations. Replacing the preheat coil in the summer along with energy efficient controls will ensure minimal impact to the heating system which is typically not required during the spring shoulder season. Project scope includes removal of the old preheat coil components, installation of new preheat coil components and associated energy efficient control valves. The ready-for-takeover date is anticipated to be October 15, 2026.
Eligible Bidders Only Bidders pre-qualified by the Health Organization in the following discipline may submit a Tender in response to this ITT:
